Story of Time

Is there is a way of holding in your heart the unknowable - can you love without form, can you love the parts you cannot reach, the darkness which holds everything? The field of undifferentiated night.

Pressure points, radical upheavals, giving way to both destruction and creation. Volcanos are apertures, where one world’s truth spills into another.

Calling to the waters that connect all life, this is about hope in a ‘hopeless’ place. At the shore of a dying sea, what can be done?

WANDAORME_BLUEONFIRE_02_s_928.jpg

A journey through the liquid depths of the burning soul. Nominated for the Prix Pictet. Expansive and intimate, embodied and anonymous, a story of water in the desert.

A deterritorialisation of intimacy from human to non-human bodies; an unfolding over land of desire, both specific and expansive.

Poetry created and installed for Parco Dei Sesi, Pantelleria.

An immersive installation at the shore of the Salton Sea created for the Bombay Beach Biennale. Twenty-four gallons of Pacific ocean water were collected and transported to the Salton Sea in southern California.

Solar power, mirrors, directed sunlight

They say that just before you die your life in its entirety flashes before your eyes. But what if this flashing is less of a flash and more of a vision. . .

Occupying a space between worlds these objects defy categorisation - animal, vegetable, mineral - phylum, class. They are an invitation to attend to the unknown, the magical, the sensorial.

Water, the unconscious — sex is where we dive in.
Here we do not become animal,
we remember that we are animal.

The voice escapes. Things grow in quiet places, between the cracks. Power and fecundity. Desire is policed, but nature is abundant.

Margo is a threshold, liminal; not quite dissolution.
The meeting of difference requires lubrication. Surely, Margo is a wet place.

The truth is an act of love
